From the direction of Pittsburgh, Latrobe and Greensburg, take route 30 east to the junction with route 711. Turn left at the light and be sure to follow 711 180 degrees around the Ligonier gazebo. Three miles north of the gazebo, take the left that comes just before the junction of 711 with 271 at the big red Sheetz (red number 1 on the map below). You'll see the sign for Wilpen and you'll be able to see the Sheetz about 50 yards or so in front of you. Your left turn takes you immediately over a brick bridge. Stay on this road for about another 2.5 miles. We'll be on your left in Wilpen (red number 2 on the map below).
Coming from Laughlintown, Somerset and Bedford, take route 30 west to the junction with route 711. Turn right at the light and then follow the directions as given above.
From Johnstown, follow route 271 to the junction with 711 at the Sheetz in Oak Grove. Take the next right after the junction and you're on the road to Wilpen. Follow the directions as in the first paragraph.
